Spotify has introduced a cool new feature called AI Playlist. It helps you make playlists easily by just typing in a few words. Whether you want songs for a specific activity like riding a pony or waiting for your microwave to ping, or even for a boring bus ride, this AI tool finds matching music for you quickly.
You can tweak the suggestions by giving more instructions to the AI. Right now, AI Playlist is in Beta mode, so there might be some glitches. Plus, it’s only for Spotify Premium users in the UK and Australia, but Spotify plans to roll it out to more places soon.
If you’re in the UK or Australia and have Spotify Premium, here’s how to use it:
1 • Tap the plus button to create a new playlist.
2 • Choose “AI Playlist (Beta)” from the options.
3 • Type what you want, or use Spotify’s suggestions.
4 • Let Spotify’s AI work its magic.
5 • Check out the songs and hit “create” to make the playlist.
6 • You can also cancel or refine the list further.
Just so you know, this tool doesn’t make playlists based on non-music topics or offensive prompts. While using AI for playlists isn’t new, having it right in Spotify makes it easy for users. The goal is to make playlist creation easier for everyone.
Are you a Spotify user? What do you think about the AI Playlist feature? Would you give it a try?
